Heat Transfers

High-quality heat transfer appliqués are a low-cost alternative to screen printing, and are ideal for printing full-colour custom graphics, especially where gradients and many colours are present in the image. Simply put, a heat transfer appliqué (you might have heard of it as an “iron-on”) is much like laser printing an image on to a piece of paper and then ironing the image onto a chosen fabric or material. Modern heat transfer films and inks are designed with special needs in mind, such as stretching, resistance to cracking or fading, and can enhance an image with special effects, such as glitter or metallic graphics.

Heat transfers may be applied to virtually any fabric, including, cotton, polyester blends, and performance fabrics such as nylon, Lycra®, and spandex just to name a few.

Classic
Basic heat transfer appliqué with a shiny or glossy finish once heat is applied.

Clear
Thin and lightweight, this appliqué is ideal for light-coloured, thinner garments, and features an extremely soft hand and matte finish and is well suited for performance wear.

Opaque
Perfect for printing high-quality, full-colour custom graphics on dark fabrics with a semi-matte finish. Opaque features amazing stretch and rebound capability and will not crack or peel – ideal for performance apparel, bags, and jackets.

Sub Block
An appliqué designed specifically for sublimated jerseys and apparel. It prevents dye migration from the fabric through the applied graphic image and has a glossy finish.

AirTech^™
A full-colour digital print media designed for light-coloured mesh fabrics. The graphic image adheres only to the fabric material leaving the mesh holes free and clear allowing the garment to “breathe”, without distorting the graphic. This super thin media has excellent stretch and rebound capability and has a matte finish.

Vintage Puff^™
Ideal for communicating images with dimension – once heat is applied, the transfer puffs to form a raised 3D-like appearance with a matte finish.

Metallic
Create full-colour metallic designs on virtually any fabric – features brilliant shine and texture with a metallic finish.

Glitter
